Board of Directors: Leadership & Governance

The success of the Red Wolves Junior Football Association is built on a foundation of transparency, safety, and dedicated leadership. Our Board of Directors operates under a clear framework designed to ensure every athlete has a premier experience.

To maintain the highest standards for our programs, we have established comprehensive expectations for our leadership. This includes:

  • Individual Position Mandates: Specific duties for each role, from the President to our volunteer coordinators.

  • Board-Wide Expectations: A commitment to integrity, strategic planning, and community engagement.

  • Operational Oversight: Ensuring all football and cheer activities align with the safety and inclusivity standards of the GEJFA.

We believe in leading by example. Our organization is governed by a formal set of rules that dictate how we make decisions, manage funds, and serve the Riverview School District.

Mission Statement:

At Jr. Red Wolves Football and Cheer Association, our mission is to empower and inspire young athletes through the transformative power of sports. We are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where every child can discover their passion, develop their skills, and build lifelong values that extend far beyond the playing field.

We believe that sports play a crucial role in the holistic development of young individuals. Through our programs, we aim to foster physical fitness, mental resilience, and emotional well-being. We prioritize the importance of teamwork, sportsmanship, and character development, instilling values of respect, discipline, and perseverance in our young athletes.

Our organization is dedicated to providing high-quality coaching, training, and resources to support the individual growth of each athlete. We strive to create a positive and supportive atmosphere where children can explore their potential, set goals, and achieve personal excellence. By nurturing a love for sports, we aim to cultivate a lifelong commitment to health, fitness, and active living.

We recognize the unique needs and challenges faced by young athletes. Our organization is committed to promoting age-appropriate training, emphasizing skill development, and ensuring a balanced approach that encourages both individual growth and team dynamics. We prioritize the safety and well-being of our athletes, implementing rigorous safety measures and fostering an environment that promotes physical and emotional health.

Beyond athletic development, we value the importance of community engagement and social responsibility. We actively encourage our young athletes to become active participants in their communities through volunteerism, leadership opportunities, and initiatives that promote inclusivity, diversity, and social impact.

As a youth sports organization, we embrace the joy, excitement, and camaraderie that sports bring to the lives of young athletes. We celebrate the achievements and progress of each child, regardless of their skill level or background, fostering a culture of encouragement, support, and positive reinforcement.

Our Values

Safety & Well-Being

We put the physical, mental, and emotional safety of our athletes first. Every decision we make prioritizes creating a safe, age-appropriate, and supportive environment where kids can learn, grow, and compete with confidence.

Teamwork & Belonging

We are better together. We foster an inclusive, team-first culture where every athlete feels valued, respected, and connected, regardless of experience or ability. Success is shared, and everyone plays a role.

Growth & Development

We believe youth sports are about development, not just results. We focus on building skills, confidence, resilience, and character - helping each athlete improve while striving for personal excellence.

Community & Leadership

We develop athletes who lead on and off the field. Through sports, we encourage responsibility, service, and positive community involvement - shaping young people who represent Jr. Red Wolves with pride and integrity.
